I am pleased to offer for sale this ca 1930’s marriage watchfeatures BLACK & GOLD DIAL, GOLD PLATED CASE and QUALITY ENGRAVED original pocket watchmovement with THREE FINGER BRIDGE, FIVE RAISED & SCREWED in GOLD JEWEL SETTINGS SNAIL (CLAMSHELL) MICROMETER REGULATOR & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING that was made by the venerable ROLEX Watch Company.

     

     

    The gorgeous, BLACK & GOLD enameled STEEL DIAL is in excellent to mint condition, truly without flaw.

     

    It features a crisp 60 minute outer track border, gold Arabic numerals with individual black cartouches for each number, original blue steel Spade-style hands and a recessed sub-seconds dial with 60 second outer chapter and original blue steel seconds hand. The new dial has been professionally updated, and now is in excellent condition. Signed ROLEX below the 12.

     

     

    It is a registered design model that features a three pieceGOLD PLATED case that provides with glass cover ofback covering. This watch was converted from pocket watch. GOLD PLATED case, new custom made, fantastic, build specially for this excellent ROLEXmovement The winding crown in very good shape and operates properly. The gently domed ACRYLIC CRYSTALS (front & back) are in excellent condition. The case is decorated HIGH QUALITY FLORAL ENGRAVING.

      

     

    Peeking inside via the glass lid I find a spotless andQUALITY ENGRAVED & SKELETONIZED, gold-finished movement with THREE FINGER BRIDGE,FIVE RAISED & SCREWED in GOLD JEWEL SETTINGS SNAIL (CLAMSHELL) MICROMETER REGULATOR & BLUE BREGUET BALANCE SPRING.

     
     

    The winding wheels are mounted clearly visible on the barrel plate and signed ROLEX – LEVER – SWISS MADE.

      

    This beautiful wristwatch has the ORIGINAL ROLEXmovement in an excellent status which was very well saved, considering age of this watch and has been in addition updated and engraved by the craftsman. Each part of the mechanism, each millimeter it is decorated by amagnificent magic ornament. The bridges have in addition to extensive skeletonization have been gorgeously engraved as well.

     

    Mechanism has been recently serviced to ensure it winds and sets smoothly while keeping great, accurate time.

     

    You can see from any direction the internal mechanics working as the balance wheel spins. They make an elegant statement on the wrist. Watch aficionados and laymen alike when they see a high quality skeletonized watch recognize its beauty.

      

     

    It is fitted on a new 20mm black alligator style genuine leather strap with golden STAINLESS steel buckle and goes great with this wonderful watch.
